Omg it's been ages since I last posted HAHAHAHA~
In the midst of as right now, not really studying ibh but definitely much much more than what I did for Os.

Back in '09:
Weekday schedule during the 2 weeks before Os:
1130 rise and shine
1200 head to Wuzhong
1230 arrive at Wuzhong library
1245 unpacked and studying
1400 out with the rest for lunch
1530 return from lunch.
1530 - 1700 chit chat
then library closes and we all leave.

Omg compared to now.

I want to get this over and done with and never look back at it.
Nor think about how much I screwed up for my papers COUGHCHEMP3COUGH.
iRage.

Keep getting distracted by my desktop as usual.
Looking through all the sites that will ship fitteds to SG.
Right.
Fitteds.
New hobby~
I'm beginning to collect fitted caps but it isn't easy 'cause the dope ones are not available in SG but shipping cost from the US is a bitch.
Like srsly.
A normally priced fitted will be around 35 - 45 USD.
Shipping for a single cap (additional caps don't add much to the cost) by USPS Priority International is 35 - 40 USD.
~!@#$%^&*()_+
And since no one else I know is interested in buying them I can't get anyone to order with me to save on shipping.
Going broke hahahaha~
Doesn't help that my size(s) is(are) the most sought-after one(s).
All the sick styles get sold out in like what, 4 days.
Fine example, the twisted Sesame Street series.
Cookie Monster out of my size even before I got to know the series was released.
What is life.
Looking to up my collection to 7 by this year; 3 with me now and 1 ordered and on-the-way.
There are so many styles I'm looking for but the official retailers are out of the sizes since eBayers love buying them in bulk and re-selling at higher prices.
Not to mention there are many fakes on eBay as well.

Right I found the authorised distributor of NE caps in SG they're located at Far East BUT I emailed the dude and he said the caps I'm looking for just went out of my sizes.
...
Wonderful.

I'm gonna re-furnish my room after As.
I need something like this to keep my caps 'cause dust and humidity are legit killers.

And also a new office chair.
My current one burns my bottom after 3 hours or so.
Not healthy.

14 June 2011 @ 06:25 pm
Yay~
Made use of the holidays to hang out with the 5 most important people (disregarding family).

1. Attended SiYing's guitar concert with Ade and Yuan'r. :D 26 May.
Initially we were like ??? where is she, until we saw her walking out carrying her guitar in her patented way of walking.
HAHAHA back-facing us but we were like "THAT MUST BE HER LAH".

2. KBox!! And lunch. Exactly a week later. ^^
Supposed to meet AhLing but she dua pai told us in the morning that she's lunching with her mum so... D:
KBox was hilarious. i) Melodramatic way of singing emo songs, ii) Ade singing songs in all languages with a Filipino accent, iii) Basically Ade gone nuts.
8Db

3. Muse! 13 June. Went with Alfred to watch Pong perform.
Muse was great! This is why AC band is thezai. And also because I like band music the most out of all the other performing arts like strings and harp and choir okay okay sorry everyone else okay bye.
Fred and I were seated in some awkward location at the side box quite near the stage.
We were discussing about how Pong's so selfish/immature/lol put us there so we can see her directly in front of us HAHAHAHAHA no luh we're just kidding.
Oh and her epic scream during Phantom of the Opera. Bet she has a fanclub now. Random kids were imitating the scream after the concert.
Fred thought it was recorded but no~ Lol apparently they held an audition to pick the one doing the live screaming and like what Janine said, no one is more powerful (my interpretation: threatening) as Pong.
Of course.
Saw people I don't want to see at the concert.
Oh! Saw Zhihao (:
After the concert Fred and I went around waiting for Pong to meet us so we can give her the ugly flowers.
Waited damn long and Lynn said "Oh she told you to wait outside here? She's lying to you we saw her inside!".
Tsk.
Then when she finally appeared (bouncing and shrieking tsk) she was, once again, too preoccupied with her guests so the two of us were like, forgotten and so we left.
Bye~

Did Zoolympix volunteering 3 days in a row.
Back-breaking work for the last day, srsly.
Day1 was uneventful because I did the boringestestest station Leaping Tigers which is basically a fancy name for Standing Broad Jump.
Day2 was just... madness. did the Ele-fun (ha.ha.) Foot station which was located in an isolated place between the Rainforest show area and the Elephant show area = people either come in hugeass numbers before/after shows and result in chaos or the place is deserted.
It was pretty chaotic because the structure of the area was such that we couldn't have proper queues vertically or horizontally because we will either block the entire pathway or the people won't fit into the hut.
We needed 2 people to time the kids, 1 person to help the kids wear boots for the game, and 2 people at the booth to handle the massive crowd trying to give us their game booklets and blah blah blah and there goes the 5 people we had at the station. i.e. No one's available for proper crowd control. So the zoo staff accused us of bad manpower allocation. So during de-briefing I had to point out exactly why their suggestions to improve crowd control like forming queues etc will not work.

So after like, 10 minutes of "discussion" she stopped challenging so that they can move on to the other stations. Okay.
Basically I was miffed by her attitude. Because it's easy to say "You should've done this" without actually having to do it.

Is it really difficult to understand that we are not employees/servants/inferior beings?
Stressing the importance of courtesy towards visitors... we're potential visitors too.
I mean, we are here to HELP. And after this short period of HELPING, we will once again be visitors whom you serve and judge you based on your attitude. Which, in my honest opinion, is pretty bad.
Double standards.
I was wondering if the same tone will be used when addressing volunteers who are working adults or just adults in general.
I believe I have every reason to suspect that the treatment we received is deemed fit by you because we are students.
But so what if we are students? That doesn't mean you should forget to respect us as human beings altogether. Nor does it mean we are non-thinking robots programmed to do whatever you want us to. We are in no way beneath you.

I'm thinking of talking to the school staff about this issue and perhaps bringing it up to the governing authorities.
Apparently Tuanhe talked to the school staff about it alr... I should too.

Heyyo~

Went out to town today!!!
To celebrate Ying's birthday~~~
8DD
Out for the whole dayyyy and just got back home ~an hour ago.

Ade was *fashionably late* again HAHAHAHAHAHAAAHAHH no surprise~~~
She planned this and told us to meet at 1400.
We saw her at 1420++.
While Ying, Yuan'r and I were at Somerset waiting, ~1410, we were joking about how she was probably still at Khatib or something.
Turned out to be pretty accurate.
She was at Admiralty @ 1350 x____X
(Y)
Hahahahahahahaahhahaha but we're so used to it.

SiYing was so bouncy today.
Over what Ade was wearing.
So class wor.
And Yuan'r being almost naked UH I MEAN sexy, only wearing a tube under the incredibly low-cut white top + checkered button-down OKAY STOP 8D
Hee~
And looking like Minzy hahahahahahahaahahhahaa (Y)(Y)

Ate @ Waraku.
Huegass bowls omg.

Anyway.
Ade, Yuan'r and I were spamming "SMELL~ SMELL~" and Ying didn't really get it UNTIL~~~~~~~
She finally watched the BB Secret Garden Parody.
THEN she couldn't stop doing it too HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA~~
Daesung is epic.

Basically we were too amused => over-enthusiasm => drunk-high => now I'm too tired.
Okay okay I need to wake up at 0530 today AND I have to finish my Chem tutorial like, now.
So~~~ gotta go.

Bye, self.

Finally!
An update on my life. ...
Well, I've just finished my term exams so I'm all ready to spam the happenings of the past month.
The most exciting event?
Ever?
WE WENT TO SEE SE7EN LIVE.
SHOWCASE AT ST. JAMES POWERHOUSE.
AND MET HIM DURING A FANSIGN.
-incoherent-
Omg he's so awesome live he isn't really photogenic i.e. he is loads better looking irl though he's already really good-looking on screen and his dancing and singing = flawless I can't.
He has such great stage presence, he glows/shines/etc like the megasuperstar he is.
But! He doesn't put on any airs.
During the fansign, us CatB peeps who get to receive an autograph on the album, got to shake his (really huge and warm) hand. And when he does shake your hand, he looks straight into your eyes and says with utmost sincerity, 'Thank you'.
I'm really not saying this as a fangirl.
Anyway the showcase was really high, I was reeaaally close to the stage (like, 3rd or 4th row of people from the barrier) since I had priority tickets muahahahahahaha~
The money's so worth it.
Yeah so when he sang La La La and everyone sang along, I realised how much I miss Se7en's music.
Digital Bounce is a great album and all, but the past 'Se7en-style' is... diluted.
La La La, Passion, Promise, and basically the entire Se7olution album, flawless music, really.
Photobucket
Autographed albums!

Anyway, moving on.

Went out with Ade, Ying, and Yuan'r on Sunday to celebrate Yuan'r's birthday(5 March).
Ate dinnz at Thai Express @ BPP and travelled back to Lot1 for MOF desserts.
And basically talked about random stuff.
Mostly difference in school cultures and etc etc.
It's awesome, just talking comfortably and just chillin' with them.
And I realised I'll only post after an outing with these girls.
'Else it means nothing.
~~~~~
Term papers started on Monday, ended on Wednesday.
Monday. GP and Econs were alright, just that I was pretty ~!@#$^&* as I had too many points I wanted to write in my AQ, but I could barely cover half of my second. GG.
Tuesday: Double kill. Screw Math and ugh for Chem.
Wednesday: Didn't manage to complete my Bio paper; I feel insecure about my Bio grades. Really.
So I'll probably end up in SSP (some supplementary classes/programme bs).
And I'm feeling all too rueful rn.
Oh look! Vocab.
Not really feeling the post-exam thrill.
I must be getting old.
Back to JPop recently. And SID.
Sudden increase in number of Massu icons.
Tegomass released a new single Aoi Bench and though it's a cover of Sasuke's song, the vocals are immaculate and the song is superb.
And I'm liking dead stock alot.
I wasted loads of time watching NewS' Live!Live!Live! Tokyo Dome concert the week before terms.
Suicidal. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA~
But it's fabulous.
I missed them so, so much.
There may not be much dancing or really really consistent vocals, but it's really high and it'll be amazing, attending one of these Johnny's, or rather, NewS concerts.
And the boys, they have really good songs.
Which reminds me.
The Unplugged - Live of Aki no Sora and Sakura Girl, masterpieces.
BigBang released their 4th mini-album too and Café is so my jam.
DaeSung's voice is just... impeccable.
Yupp and GD's falsetto > Seungri's and YB's so YB fans just admit it okay? Okay. Okay bye.
Been into Skins lately.
Caught up with Season 5 w/ the 3rd Gen. cast.
And episode 7 is gonna be broadcasted tomorrow.
Can't wait.
Dakota Blue Richards plays Francesca "Franky" Fitzgerald.
http://www.e4.com/skins/series5/profiles/franky.html
Franky is my favourite character in Skins so far.
Androgynous, really, genuinely nice though incredibly strange, bursting with artistic talent, sad life.
Shy, bullied, accidentally set fire to the headmaster(dressed up as a scarecrow) in elementary school.
IMO Dakota's portraying the character well.
Though initially it felt really odd to see the little girl on the polar bear in The Golden Compass smoking and cussing on Skins.
Now I'm just used to it.
Didn't really watch much of the first 2 seasons with the 1st Gen. cast unless the scenes involved Maxxie, so although people insist that they're the best and whatnot, I'm still liking this 3rd Gen. more.
2nd Gen. was good too, with Emily/Naomi and Cook's story.
Okay basically season 5 has fewer sex scenes i.e. fewer scenes skipped by me => watched more of the episodes.
And Franky's strangeness is just endearing.
Okay sorry for that chunk of blab.
Pretty tired rn, has extra Math tutorial at 1030 later today although I don't have to report to college as I don't have a paper to take.
Ugh. Would throw a bitch fit if not for this chronic exhaustion.
I mean come on, it's totes not my fault you spend 40minutes to go through 2 questions hence require extra lessons to be conducted in order for you to finish covering the entire tutorial right.
Pfft.
I'm out.
G'night, self.
Ana it was really fun, haven't been this 8D for a long time.
Miss you people so much ㅠㅠ
Sorry for having you guys see my incompetent dancing D:
This will probably be the last time this year we're all free to hang out and play together.
Let's work hard now that we're in J2.
No regrets! Yaye~
